Overview

I am a partner at Finestone Hayes LLP, where I focus my practice on federal civil litigation, appeals, and bankruptcy law. I have successfully briefed and argued cases up to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. My full bio, including a list of representative cases, is available here.

From 2014 to 2018 I served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Stephen L. Johnson in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California, San Jose Division.

Professional Community

I am on the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum.

I was the Leadership Team of the California Bankruptcy Forum’s Annual Insolvency Conference.

I am a contributor to the Turnaround Management Association’s Journal of Corporate Renewal (link), the California Receivers Forum’s Receivership News (published in three parts), and the Recent Developments in Business Bankruptcy program presented by the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum and the Bar Association of San Francisco from 2017 to 2021.

I am the former Co-President of the Congressman Don Edwards Inn of Court.

Education

I earned my J.D. from from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly known as the University of California, Hastings College of the Law) in 2014 and spent a semester studying law abroad at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. While in law school, I received awards for my writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills and served as Senior Article Editor for the Hastings Communication and Entertainment Law Journal, Comm/Ent.
